Evo X Turbo swap tune

Finished up with 90% of the X swap just need to fabricate something to use the ralliart AEM airbox. Thanks to opjohnsmith for the parts.
What tune are you running with this swap ?
Are you using ralliart or Evo plugs and MAF?

90% completed 12hrs & some scars.

99% just need to fabricate a connector to mount the ralliart intake correctly.

Use Evo plugs and have someone e-tune your car.

Not sure about the MAF. Most people run the Ralliart one from what I have seen or run the full stock Evo X intake. I am not sure what all is considered the intake.

Well I ordered an Evo X MAF and plugs. Chet is working on my E-tune. Excited to see what the car can do once it's dialed in.

Good choice for a tuner. Let me know what you decide to do with your intake setup.

Are you referring to the stock setup?

With the AEM I am just using the piping and I cut the accordion stock hose to mate the turbo outlet and the intake.

Are you using the stock Ralliart airbox setup other than a cut/modified Evo X diverter valve hose and an Evo X intake tube?

I'm using the AEM ralliart box. I removed the stock mounting bracket and got it in temporarily. Just a piece of modified hosing to make the mate between the two pipes. I'm going to have a pipe fabricated so I can keep the AEM and big battery.

I'm running EVO X Plugs & stock MAF. I'm also on the stock single EBCs from the Ralliart.
That is something I would upgrade to something like the Grimspeed 3 port.

That oil line is routed different from the ralliart one so you'll need to order that and replace that cut line. I have one if you need it . And the downpipe. I used the ralliart dp. And it worked for me but going to upgrade so it's 50/50. Evo spark plugs and evo intake...stock or aftermarket.

Sure I'm willing to buy it off you, I want to use my stock air box to keep the cost Down a bit. What modifications have to be done to it? You can reach me at jjacosta28@gmail.com for the oil line

If you havent already installed this stuff I would suggest getting this kit. Its a little expensive but going off the oemmitsubishiparts website youll still end up cheaper this route. http://www.maperformance.com/map-mit...-swap-kit.html
This kit will make life way easier, and should give you some piece of mind knowing your not reusing old banjo bolts or gaskets. But maybe thats just me.
