2010 RA, has hill start assist?

2010 RA, has hill start assist?

just found out 2010 RA has a hill start assist.... my 09 RA, backs up on a slight incline, is it normal? example in gear stop on a hill my car backs up, its like a manual transmission.... is it normal? thanks.........

That's perfectly normal. It's one of the only flaws with the TC-SST gearbox.
VW DSG gearboxes behave the same way.

Completely normal for an 09. Mine does that all the time. I don't know if my GF's 2010 has hill start assist or not. That's something I never took notice to while driving her Ralliart. I don't think it does but the next time I hop in her "borring, bone stock" Ralliart I'll check it out.

my '10 RA has hillstart...
let go of the brake on a hill, doesnt move.. (well not right away at least!)

My '09 RalliArt has hill assist too. I have a little silver button that I have to press on this long handle between the seats. As I press the gas and start to move, I let the handle drop. It's a pretty cool feature.

yes 2010 RA's have the hill assist. It keeps the brakes on for 2 secs once your foot leaves the pedal or until you step on the gas.
