Navigation Usage

First sorry for asking this newb question.

Does anyone know about any other usage of this premium 09 RA STOCK navi other than navi, music server?

maybe ecu tune? or sth related to tune? I'm also aware of the other thread about the usb accessport ecu reflash.

You can't tune the ecu through the navi. Accessport works through the obII port. The navi does do a lot though. If I get to my car tomorrow I'll write them down but off the top of my head: trip info, maintenance reminder, outside conditions (temp, pressure, elevation) etc. Hope this helps

The $1500 is only if you want to create your own custom maps. The Access Port unit is $500 (or $595 cant remember) which lets you run pre-made maps.Unless you have access to a dyno and some knowledge on how to tune you don't need anything more than the AP.

Additional input like a back up camera?

What about a hack to watch DVDs while the car is moving?

I know there is software to hack it but you need to know what version the OS is on the navi.

Link?

Is that one of the things you can get from the "about" or "information" section within the navi itself?
