Hey guys just wanted to know where you guys mounted your HID ballast for those of us who didn't get HID package. If you can take pics on where you mounted it'd be great! I just installed my HID I got from lancer_es. Works wonders. But now I don't know where I I should mount the ballast...thanks guys!

 

on mine, i kept trying to find different places to mount them all over the engine bay, but they kept collecting water and ballasts kept failing, no matter where or how i positioned them. the most recent set, i just threw in there and didnt bother to secure them cause i was in a hurry, and (*knocks on wood*) they havent failed since...

 

Seems like they mount on the actual headlight assembly see pic. I am buying the projector headlights and the pics I was sent show the ballasts mounted on the headlight assembly. You can see it mounted on the bottom in the first pic

 

how in the world am I suppose to do that lol...

 

I put them in the fender well with a bracket.

 

I've also burnt a ballast out because water got into it. I bought the slim ballast that are sealed much better. And have it in the same fender spot.

 

the halogen headlamps have the same spot on the bottom of them to mount a ballast as the projector ones do, so if your not lazy take off your bumper and mount the ballasts under the headlamps
