Just curious as to the differences to the HID ballast. I notice a large price variation and wonder if there is an actual difference.

I got 2 HID and two ballast for 60$ at a retrofitter by my house. But I noticed online I you can pay 100$ each for the same power rating. Is there a difference in light output from the different brands of ballasts or it it just a quality thing?

get a decent one. or go to your local audio tin HID spot some of the good one will offer 1yr warranty., my HID never gave me issues. NEVER and if they did i can easily go back AT NO COST
