HID ballast replacement for OEM

Does anyone know of a company that does a replacement ballast for the 8/9 evo? I really hate the price of OEM.

I think the only way to go is to look in the Fs section for a used one. Got mine for $50.

Ya I've looked for a while but people are still trying to charge upwards of almost $200 for a used one. Ive gotten a replacement one on here for free one time but now my other one is out. I would love a cheap used one! But I have also looked online and see companies that say HID ballast but non look like they would work for a direct bolt on replacement.

Hate to bump a old topic but I seem to have the same question. Does anyone rebuild them? or sell a bolt on replacement?

Then you plug that connector into the factory harness and plug the other end (9006 plug) into the ballast such as:

Then mount it somewhere. they won't bolt into the stock location as the stock ones also seal the bottom of the lights. you'll have to seal that as well.

Honestly, buy an OE ballast and be done with it

Leaving this here for anyone who is mining the old forums dealing with ballast issues.

I made an adapter for a newer ballast from the Evo X. See post on the book here: https://www.facebook.com/share/p/18BEFjZSNx/
