Transmission mode
I'd like to know a little bit more about transmission features. What's the difference between transmission setting mode 1 and mode 2 in panel control? When I set to mode 2, I din't notice the change when I drive in standard automatic mode and must reset mode 2 each time I start the car. Mode 1 appear to be default setting. And some folks had experimented transmission confusing shift like automatically downshift on manual mode at cold engine or ligth slipping in D1 at smooth acceleration? Are there some adjustments who can help or this is a common feature of this kind of transmission?
Thanks,
Bernard

I am going out on a limb here and am going to assume that "Mode 1" is Normal Mode and "Mode 2" is Sport Mode. From what I understand, Normal Mode shifts more slowly, earlier in the power band to save fuel. Sport Mode is quicker and firmer. It is also programmed to shift gears at a much higher shift point. The clutches engage in this Mode much more forcefully than they otherwise would.
