A lot of modern cars shut off the fuel injectors when there is no throttle input going downhill. You would actually be using more gas by putting it into neutral.

I agree with him on the MPG point.

somethying like that is good. revving it up high in neutral and then dropping it into D. That's Very bad for the transmission. Again same caveat as before, I don't know too much about the TC-SST other than how its suppose to work.

A transmission in neutral will not operate the pump, which will not cool your transmission. 'Mexican overdrive' is not recommended for any automatic.
