Should I get the 2009 or 2010

I found a couple of good deals on the Ralliart and am now deciding on which one I should get. There's the 2010 with 2 miles on it that's being sold near cost that's way out of area and requires an addition $500 for shipping. Then there's the 2009 that's out in a middle of nowhere dealership that still has two 2009 ralliarts. When I went to kbb and tmv, the pricing differences between the 2009 and 2010, came out to be about $1500. Also, the folks out in middle of nowhere-land are willing to ship it a state over for free. Overall the savings between the two is about 2200. Would you go with the 2010 or the 2009 for $1700 less?

EDIT: The 2009 has 415 miles on it, so it was more than likely a demo car. If were to stick with it how much more do you think I should ask them to take off?

the 2010 has the shorter antenna, the LCD color display, the new dash console.

Hmm, I was wondering why I was more impressed with the 2010 dash than the 2009 when I test drove the ones here locally. I thought it was just part of the recaro package that the 2010 had on it. Now, I really would prefer the 2010 but 1700 is a good bit of savings. I mean that's the price for a nice set of rims. Hopefully, this forum can sway me to one side and help me become be more comfortable with my decision.

i was debating between 09 and 10 as well.. i chose to get 2010 cuz i can probably sell 1-2k higher when I get rid of it ...

the difference is not big .. color LCD ... my center console was teh same as 09 ... and "shorty" antenna as stated..

I just learned that the 09 has 415 on it. Meaning is was more than likely a demo car. I think it's going to take a good discount to switch me over to the 2009. How much more should I have them take off?

EDIT:

We'll fudge the 2010 I was looking to get was just sold. I have another guy with a 2010 that was closing in on his price at $500 more. So that would make the difference between the 09 and the 2010 at $2200. The 2009 looks ALOT better now.

2010 for sure if you have the money. The color display alone is worth it, much nicer than the red one. Plus some other minor interior upgrades that just clean up the look. =)

the color display vs. red is hardly a big deal, i would go for the 09 and save yourself some $$$. the 09 will be considered used since it's a year old (even though noone owned before you) and your insurance will also be slightly lower i think.

I went with the 2009. I'll just use the cash I saved today, for my system and rims. If any other perspective Ralliart buyers are peaking in, stay tuned for a thread about all the deals I found on my search for a car. There's a couple of dudes I had lined up that were willing to do car for a very good price. While the car that i wanted sold the guy I was going to buy the car from was a really awesome dealer that cares more about selling volume than price.

Once again ,thanks for the input, and keep a look out for my deals thread.

You may as well get the newest car if you can afford it.

All the cars i got good prices on are out of area from me. The guy I was going to get a red 2010 from is getting a White Recaro with nav this week. PM me if you need a link to his dealership. Also there's a new red 09 recaro on ebay out of scotsdale that I'm sure you can get a good deal on.

I have the 2010 version and it's still no color display. I'm from Sweden though and the package offerings are not the same.

Wow 85% of people prefer the new one. Hopefully, I'll love the 09, and if I hate it I'll resell it and try to make back most of my money.
