Should I Trade?

I'm debating between a few options. Would like the opinion from the forum!

My Ralliart has all the "power" boltons minus turbo swap and intake and minor suspension. I feel like any more power and the TC-SST is going to go.

So here is where the dilemma comes.

Do I trade the Ralliart and get an X

Or do I keep the Ralliart, and get an S2000.

HELP

evo> s2k+RA

everyone and their grandmom has s2000's now that hey are depreciating so heavily...every EG/EK/DC2 owner is moving up to an s2000...may be nice cars, but nowhere near the overall package+legacy of an EVO

With a proper tune the tc-sst on a RALLIART can hold 355 whp+ (fp green) theres a member on one of the forums im on. The key is the tune. I would just keep the ra and nothing else.

What will getting an S2000 solve if you want more power?

If you're absolutely set on another car, get the Evo X. But I'd just keep the RA myself...

pretty much completely different cars...and if i recall s2000's main complaints were lack of torque - something the RA/EVO has in spades...I would miss it myself.

Just bolt on a EVO X turbo so you are equivalent to the MR in power. It's practically the same engine/trans and it can handle it...If your not drag racing you will be fine for a long long time.

i've seen some nice supercharged or turbo S2K's for sale on S2Ki.com lately. they're really nice cars and handle very well. they're just getting really common and lack torque in stock form. i'd say get a 350Z if you want a rwd car with *****.

if you need a 4 door and you're searching for big power, get an EVO X GSR.

From a more pratical perspective (may be showing my age here), getting two cars to run your miles on seems like a great idea to me. The rag top will be nice at times and the Ralliart will pick up the rest of the time. Pusing a vehicle without compromise just doesn't work. Spliting you interests in two vehicles doesn't really do it either ... but it does get you closer!

Trade the Ralliart for a used M3 from a dealership.

If an Evo MR I would say don't bother, you have the same TC-SST torque limitation, and your tuned ralliart will probably have just as much HP than a stock MR. If you were going for a GSR then it makes more sense. Even still, the depreciation is a bitter pill to swallow.

The sticker on the 135i alone is in the neighborhood of $50,000. I can imagine that the 335xi is considerably more. I don't know if those are really realistic alternatives.
