Took it in for server(fog lights and knocking sound while driving down the road) I called for an update on it today and they said they also had to reflash the ecu?? i wasn't aware of any update to the ecu flash, I heard about the awc reflash. Maybe thats what the chick meant on the phone. Anyone heard of a ecu reflash

 

I haven't seen anything "new". The "awc" reflash was a looong time ago.

well this is getting ratarded. The dealer has had my car since TUESDAY and to top it off they refused to give me a loaner car. The are waiting for 2 modules to come in for the fog lights. I didn't realize troubleshooting the footlights was that hard but I guess i'm wrong or the dealer messed something up while.

Do you guys have this much trouble with your service dept in your area? They NEVER give me a loaner car and I have to drive 45 minutes to the nearest dealer. I think this will be the last Mitsu that I own because of this **** poor service.

 

I'm in and out. I always go in early though and let them know ahead of time. I did all the recall things in 2 trips. 1. fuel line and hood latch 2. awc reflash and window holder thing.

I might've done something else, but I don't remember. Recall things are usually easier than repairs from warranty.

 

everytime I would take my vehicle there it took a couple days, Maybe ill take to it a different dealer. there is one in Waukesha WI that I might try out

 

My dealer dented my car in two different places, and cracked the front bumper. I have paint pealing off of it now, when i showed them (before i took it off the lot) they said that they didnt do it, that the body shop did it. They treated me like crap, gettin loud and snippy with me. I assure you, ill never buy another mitsu ever again.

 

^^ Take it to another dealer and make them fix it. If they did it they have to fix it. Stay persistent and it will get done.

 

well it's official, My car has stumped Mitsus engineers. They can't figure out what is wrong with my fog lights. They found a connector unplugged and 2 bad modules, replaced them and connected everything and it still doesn't work. This is getting very annoying. A 2009 car and something that seems so simple is a pain in my ***. This just tops the cake for reasons why i'm done buying a mitsu, (I tell myself that after every mitsu that I've owned haha)

well just to update everyone, right before I went to go pick up the car. I was dropping off the rental and got a call from the dealer, they FIXED it, the new modules had to be reprogrammed to the car so everything is fixed now.

however my wife just told me she would be ok with getting a new Subaru wrx so i'm debating if I should trade in my truck or the ralliart for one

 

The Mitsu dealership in Waukesha is good for doing stuff except they are really a Kia dealership with a BIG Sticker on the window

 

maybe i'll take it to them next time

 

I realized that after the service, my brake are smoother, jerk from 1st to 2nd to 3rd gear feels less jerky, steering wheel is lighter.

Overall I like their service!

They also wash my car! the outside only tho =( ^^V
