2010 Ralliart at the local 8th mile
Mods are test pipe and a tune with boost pill. Looking forward to getting this tiny FMIC off the car and replacing it with the EVO X FMIC "which i have on the way" for a cheap upgrade. It was mid 90s degrees and HUMID at the track tonight and the small factory FMIC was struggling to say the least! All in all not too bad considering the mods and conditions!

I'm going to keep it fairly mild actually... But i would like for it to run in the low 8s 1/8th high 12s 1/4 with stock turbo. Wont be bad for the girls DD. Maybe throw a X turbo on it and shoot for a high 7 sec 8th pass... but i dont think ill go any further then that turbo until they do something with the SST... Don't want those clutchs slipping on me
If it wouldn't have been in the 90s last night i think i could have got another tenth out of it pretty easily!! It was ridiculously hot a humid and the stock FMIC was begging for mercy!!

Well i took the car back to the track tonight with the EVO X FMIC installed. Weather was HORRIBLE... Hot and humid at 88 degrees with humidity being 87% by what the local weather station read. Just standing there we were sweating like pigs.... Probably not the best night for some good track runs but i was excited to test out the new FMIC. I got a few passes in with a best MPH of 82MPH and best ET of 8.47. Mods are test pipe, EVO X FMIC and a road tune.
This was going to be a good pass but i held the stall too long causing a over temp light which for some reason made the car shift into 2nd at 7250 and into 3rd at 6750 which KILLED the pass....
It did the same exact thing the pass before this and also ran an 8.47 but at 81.49MPH. Next time i go to the track im going to shift it myself "Likei should have done on the last pass
" to make sure it shifts right before 6500rpm which seems to be the sweet spot. I have learned that with the stock tiny turbo over reving before a shift REALLY slows these cars down as they come out of there usable power band. I wish there was a way to eliminate this over temp protection as the ECU flips out and shifts WAY too high every time!! Oh well next time at the track i will be doing the shifting myself to make sure it shifts where it should!
Although not happy with it, it is what it is. I think with another high 1.8 60 ft like i got here with the proper shift points this car might dip in the 8.3s at 82-83MPH in this horrid weather. Not bad for 2 minor mods and some tuning
