Well, This is the End...

Well guys, after everything my cars been through I figured its the end of upgrading it. After the accident its been sent to shop to shop and dealership to dealership and theres so many scrapes and dents on it now. I just dont see the point of putting money into it anymore. It sucks cuz its only 6 months old. The only thing ill be doing to it now is putting the rims on that I bought (Bought them before the accident and recived them a day after it -_-) and maybe getting a tune.

I had so many ideas for this car so im so bummed out about this.

Quiter... so you have a couple dents and scratches, why can't the car be fast now again? My car has little dings and scratches too, they don't stay showroom fresh forever.

if you think it's not show quality anymore, you can always flat black it and track it. evo x turbo and fmic will cheer you up.

yeah, i have to agree with mike on this one. now that it's been declared "imperfect", that means there's that much more reason to put it to use for what it's fully worth. now you can track it and beat the **** out of it like you're meant to, without regard for rock chips, cone/curb rash or otherwise.

you'll have to take some pictures of the damage, but if you expected a daily driver to be "perfect" then you are in for a very long and dissapointing life. Perhaps anti-depressants would be a good thing to start now?

Or there is always the option of encasing a brand new evo with 0 miles in a thick tree sap and wait a few thousand years. It will be PERFECT!!!!!!! (but we'll all be dead by then)

unless the chasis is heavily damage.. you should never give up on the car =)
Body work can always be re-done if you're not satisfy.

Trust me, after you get the rims on, you'll want a drop ... after u get a drop, you'll want TBE ... after u get TBE ... you'll want moar moar MOARRRR

trust me, my story is a lot worse...

bought the car for a good price, and did a 2.3 build. Problem is, it took almost 6 months, since i live in canada and everything i had to order had to come from the states. Everytime my mechanic would be ready to build the sucker, something was either missing or wrong. IE: crank was warped and the journals were off, so i had to send it back, that took 2-3 weeks. Then again, head gasket needed to be thicker, another 2-3 weeks. Finally cars done, 2nd day driving i start her up in the morning my engine wire harness fried. I order one, get it installed, car doesn't start... ecu's damaged, and is now in california for repair.... hopefuly when i get it back, she starts and i can finish breaking in my clutch to get it tuned and live in peace :]

this should make your problem fade

I suppose your all right, I wasnt expecting it to be show room quility forever, but I got into the accident when it was 4 months old and less then 3g in miles. Before the accident it was perfect, not a dent or scratch on it. Now it has dents on it and scratchs everwhere. The body shop that "FIXED" it did a **** job on the paint.

Paint is almost flat in random parts, little bubbles on the bumper and hood, and white spots all over. Hood doesnt fit correctly, the driver side door still has a dent when i tried to opened the door after the accident, driver side side skirt has rips in it (Looks like they were trying to take it off with a screw driver) and thats all cosmetic. It has plenty wrong with the "driving" asspect. The trans slips at times and is clunky now, suspention feels strange in the front, and it gets HORRIBLE gas miliage now. No one wants to own up to the cosmetic damage cuz its been tossed around from shop to shop so everyone is blaming the other guy.

Cars at the dealership right now getting the wiring harness put in. After that it goes back to the body shop for the 4th time. Im just so stressed out about everything. As a 21 year old that saved up his whole life to get a kick *** car to upgrade and finally getting it and four months having it, it gets messed up so bad from a guy running the light.. it just sucks.
