Hey everyone.
So I was parked in manhattan the other day and when I came back to my car my front bumper was smashed. It looks like some a-hole backed into my car with a hitch and smashed my chrome ring and bumper. I called the stealer-ship and they want $300 just for the chrome ring and $850 for a whole new front bumper w/ chrome piece. Now that is a lot of money that I really dont want to spend right now but every time i get into my baby and drive around i can feel everyone looking at her scar and its driving me crazy. Anyone know of some aftermarket place that i can get a new bumper from?

 

o man that sucks, I just got my 2010 RA and everytime i wake up or get off work i worry about that. Parking on streets in Brooklyn/Manhattan is harsh

 

call your insurance company and file an uninsured motorist claim.

Parking in manhattan always makes me cringe.

The only time when I drive out there is on weekends and real early so I can find parking. If I can I'll park behind a hydrant or beginning of the block so any possible damage would be in the back. Some a-hole last month did manage to take a small chunk out of my rear bumper with the screw on the front plate of his volvo...

 

looks ok.. would look a bit better without the bottom and side vents..

Hey thanks for the suggestions. Now i dont think i really want to go through insurance cause it is just not that serious i dont think. And i looked at the body kits but im not sure those are gonna fit an RA. The rear bumper will not work cause we have dual exhaust and the bumper isnt made for that and i dont think the front is gonna work cause the lancer doest have an intercooler. The front bumper will hit the intercooler on a RA. Now i could turn this into a project and fabricate it so that it will fit, which is a possibility. Anyways thanks.

 

The evo bumper on that site is not that bad except for the foglights.
