I have my phone sync'd to the car via bluetooth, it automatically connects every time I turn the car on. There are voice commands you can use to dial a number, or a contact. Additionally, there's a MMC number pad you can use to dial in a number using the touch screen, if you don't want to say the number out loud. I think it's under INFO>Phone. I've never used it though.

map updates do kind of suck but other than that it is amazing i think love it more than any other gps system
