My buddy got a 2008 EVO MR a few months before I got the 09 Ralliart, The MR is an awesome beast to go for a rip in, but is not a great dd. He's since admitted he should have gotten a RA.

I swear I pay as much for fuel as my friend does for his MR... maybe I have a heavier foot

I would say get the RA for a good AWD DD and then Mod the **** out of when you get the itch. Problem solved, guys on here are getting great #'s out of their RA's. The Evo is great if you have another car and can afford the insurance for it....but I say RA

Thanks for all the input guys! I'm deciding to go with a 2010 RA. I got an insurance estimate between that and a 2008 Evo X MR and the Evo was killer.. Now to decide between an Octane Blue or Wicked White...

Yeah, this would be a DD. I ended up test driving a 2008 Evo MR and i liked the speed, just didn't like how it felt. I had it out for about an hour and didn't feel it would make a good DD.

The speed factor is easily fixed with a tune. Get a GST upgrade (Free) tactrix cable ($160ish) boost pill ($20.00) Drop in Filter ($50.00) and you will be putting up close to EVO HP as it sits stock.

Alternately you can go Cobb Access Port $595.00 and put up similar numbers with ease.

With these options you can flash back to stock with ease.

HP(speed) fixed for a reasonable investment and you get a comfortable daily driver with near or better than EVO stock horsepower depending on what extra bits you put in.

It worked for me!

Good luck

That's what I've been reading and planning on doing. That and adding a BOV, i think i should be fine, for a little while at least...

I really don't see why so many people hate on the Ralliart saying "it's just an Evo wanna-be". After looking at both cars, test driving both, and getting opinions for owners of both, everyone (myself included) says the Ralliart is the better DD. I like the power that it has, and the fact that it's AWD is awesome (especially with brutal winters we get up here in Minnesota). And for the price, you can't beat it
