Thanks for posting this. Interesting to see how the GST tune affects the 0-60 time.

Hey no problem man. I had ASC off, Sport Mode, and Auto. Held the brake then rev'd up to 2k then pressed harder while at the same time releasing the brake and then hitting the gas. I have had better times though, and I hope I can put a new video up soon!! I just hate that stupid SLOW DOWN LIGHT!!!!

What slow down light? If you had the ASC turned off.

Sometimes I get it and I hate it lol...Does it not come on while ASC is off? Cause I didnt even know that

Anyway I was able to do another run where i estimated a 4.6 0-60 but i only took a video of this one.

I had a ASC on and the ground was wet and it kicked on at about the end of 1st right under 30 mph,im sure it would have been a bit faster, still not too bad though. Looks to be about 5.1-5.3

yes, it ~really~ cuts power to the car...

I was horsing around w/ a friend, he was in his new 2011 Mustang GT 5.0, me in my RA (ASC off, Sport, Auto) "over rev'ed" in my brake stand and the RA limped off the line; I didn't see "slow down" in the gauges, but it killed power to the engine for 1 to 2 seconds, which felt like an eternity at the time.

It has nothing to do with the ASC, if my understanding of this behavior is right. It has more to do with the TCU/ECU trying to preserve the clutches, as a clutch dump from 3k+ RPM is really hard on the clutches ("excessive wear") with an AWD car.

The "slow down" light is controlled by temperature sensors in the SST. It has nothing to do with ASC. It is designed to protect the clutches from premature wear or other heat-related damge.

The slow down light usually means that your transmission is overheating. Revving while holding the brake can cause that.

it just says slow down in yellow on the instrumental display and it really kills the engine lol...but i actually noticed that launching without holding the brakes is better than actually trying to hold the rev's...it seems as though it bogs the engine down...i guess its just you have to launch it the right way..but i tried launching it again and it seems bette rto just hit the gas off the line!

The light will come up in the center as a warning light it means that your transmission is overheating and the car will stall.
