Rock, if I were you I'd be persistent with the dealer and require them to show the same sound on a brand new car. Yours is almost new and should have any suspicious rattle or sound like this one.

Our dealer is pretty crappy when it comes to honoring warranty work. Example: I had to pay 100$ to have them replace a wheel stud that broke just a month after I got the car... I didn't want to argue too much for 100$. But just because of that they lost any future business they could have with me.
I will do exactly that brother! Thanks for your input!

Just went to take my car to the dealer because the AC went out after i pulled the battery and they told me i had no reason to pull the battery and more then likly my warenty would be voided and i would have to pay for everything out of pocket and that my car would be black listed. So **** mitsubishi dealers and there ****ed up extended warenty

Wow that's wrong, you should go to another dealership.

Yes, but this time DON'T TELL THEM that you unhooked the battery. Just say that the AC isn't working, period!

I had this same noise when pushing down the brake in park before shifting the gear. I immediately called the dealer (less than 1k miles) and asked wtf was up. They also said it was normal, and where able to show me the same noise in another car.

I guess I haven't really noticed it since then tbh. I'm usually waiting for my deck to turn on so I can use the backup camera before I shift gears to reverse, and by then the music is already on...
