WRX or Lancer Sportback Ralliart?

I am looking for a new family 4door car, but yet sporty.

I currently own a G35 coupe, and like the power, but hate the tranny, small size,, I could go on.

Anyhow.
I am leaning towards the 2010 Lancer Sportback Ralliart

I also like the WRX, but the price is a jump.

Whats your opinion?

Sorry for the newb question.

The sportback has lots of space, great room in the trunk, really good power and you can get a free tune from GST on this website that will give you some extra power for when you are alone in the car.
Price and reliability +1 for the mitsubishi. My 0,02.

^^I disagree with what I think you're saying. I've loved my Evo 8's and was comparing the Evo X with STI and the '11 WRX as my next car. I went with the new WRX.

The Ralliart Sportback is $28k MSRP right? Base WRX's are $25k so why is it a price jump for you? For $25k the 2011 WRX is a steal IMO...lots of cargo space, the widebody STI styling, lighter gunmetal rims, gobs of dd torque, great boxer sound, and weighs a substantial 350lbs less than the Evo/Ralliart. I dig it.

Thank You!
I was prob thinking of STi version, I will def look into this more.
I saw my friends Sportback at DC Sports with ADVANs, and was like
I do want space, power. WRX may be looking more more as an option.
Any previous Ralliart owners , regretting purchase?
But, I am sure the WRX still has alot going for it. I appreciate the response. More are welcome

+1 test both cars and see what you want! simple has that! I have No regrets buying a 2010 Ralliart sedan. I didn't like the WRX when I tried it out and IMHO I made the right choice for me.

It's always your call, you're the one that will drive it.

I like the wrx hatch back better then the ralliarts hatchback in terms of looks...you can get a really good deal on a ralliart though. Also the awd system on the ralliart is far better then the wrxs. Mechanical open diffs on the wrx vs limited slip diffs in the ralliart make winter a lot of fun and wont get stuck easy. The ralliarts tranny is something to get used to. As far as reliability both cars have their downfalls but both will put a smile on your face.

i love my ralliart sportback i did toss up between this, the sti and evo x, but what won it for me was the sst and practicality of the sportback. i haven't regretted it at all, plus i couldn't quite get into the look of the new subies
