Yup your the first and only person to come to this community and ask the WRX or RA question.

Hello Ford truck forum should I buy the Ford or the Chevy half ton? Come on... and your serious?

Enough said

Im going to say go with the Ralliart. I do own one but still, when I was picking my car I also drove the wrx, speed3 and gti. For me it was Ralliart hands down the better choice.

What? You mean like, what are good first mods and or what size wheels should I buy? So automatically every newbie or person with a valid question is a troll? I'll concede that the same questions over and over again are annoying. Maybe we should have stickys for the more common questions?

Back OT, Honestly if there were a 5/6-speed manual for the RA it would be no competition.

Well my brother has the new WRX and I have a Ralliart. Im not a fan of the Sportback so I say go for the WRX. I actually like the exterior of the WRX better and the interior of the Ralliart better (I do have Recaros & Nav). To each their own really both cars imho are awesome and around the same price as long as you dont get the Recaro or Nav packages in the Ralliart.

love my ra sportback... i do miss having a proper manual though. though, i will admit that this and the tc-sst in the evo mr touring are the best automatics i've ever driven. they're not as good as a manual off the line, but the do allow you to select the gears you want, ~almost~ whenever you want. they don't let you do stupid stuff like down shift to 1st at 80mph, but i'm ok with that. They do let you select gears early though. It's an automatic that behaves like a manual, and if you drive it like a manual (even if you're in automatic mode) it won't disappoint.

plus, the cargo space of the RA sportback is excellent. My max fill so far has been 4 36x36 double pane windows, 2 80lbs bags of stucco repair, 2 20lb bags of charcoal, 2 bales of r19 insulation, and a 240lb passenger. The rear of the car was packed from floor to ceiling, and the car still pulled uphill hard enough to put a smile on my face...

Get the Sportback!!!

I love my RA Sportback also. Can fit tooooons of crap in it and still has a good amount of power. I also have an Evo 8 running 30psi and E85. I find myself driving the Sportback 99% percent of the time. Just a great all around car. Decent handling, does doughnuts great, very easy to manuver on dirt/gravel and of course its a Mitsubishi so you dont have to be a homo to drive one (*Cough* Subie Owners)

Here's why i get the RA over the performance box wrx.

RA (premium) :
-leather seats(heated)
-navi(touch screen)
-rocksford premium sound system with subs (6 speakers and 1 sub)
-sst tranny, manual is not always the way to go especially when traffic, manual = sucks ( depends on what you want)
-S-AWD(snow, tarmac, gravel)
-automated sunroof
-HID + fog lights

WRX:
-truely better in performance wise
that's all i can say
