Poll: Which Drop-in Filter Do You Use?
haha thanks man...just the GST boost pill and GST V2 93 tune and evo 9 bpv. I hit 13.2, so next time im at the track im hoping the filter does make even a small difference, im planning on taking out the spare and jack along with the cardboard covers
K&N. I agree that you can definately hear the bpv more easily now. I don't notice any power difference, and as far as fuel economy I haven't noticed any change. It might have helped, but I dont drive the exact same way every day, so I can't do a fair comparison
The k&n is proven to give 10 hp to the crank and 2 - 4 hp to the wheels not bad for 40 bucks... I heard the evo guys made 5 - 8 whp coz they have better air intake design

I ordered a spectre drop in, it arrived yesterday but doesn't even come close to fitting, I tried every way but it just doesn't fit, but I've checked every site and I have the correct part number, I guess that spectre just got it wrong, so I ended up getting a paper filter, I'm thinking of k&n in a few thousand miles once the paper one clogs up.
