Just slapped the K&N on today...gonna see if i can manage a 13.1 lol haha, so far so good

haha thanks man...just the GST boost pill and GST V2 93 tune and evo 9 bpv. I hit 13.2, so next time im at the track im hoping the filter does make even a small difference, im planning on taking out the spare and jack along with the cardboard covers

K&N. I agree that you can definately hear the bpv more easily now. I don't notice any power difference, and as far as fuel economy I haven't noticed any change. It might have helped, but I dont drive the exact same way every day, so I can't do a fair comparison

Think I am going to switch to K&N in 2,000 miles. Does it make the loud sucking sound like the HKS does?

I am so tempted to try the K&N out. It seems really durable and they are not really oily.

The k&n is proven to give 10 hp to the crank and 2 - 4 hp to the wheels not bad for 40 bucks... I heard the evo guys made 5 - 8 whp coz they have better air intake design

I ordered a spectre drop in, it arrived yesterday but doesn't even come close to fitting, I tried every way but it just doesn't fit, but I've checked every site and I have the correct part number, I guess that spectre just got it wrong, so I ended up getting a paper filter, I'm thinking of k&n in a few thousand miles once the paper one clogs up.
