Has enyone else noticed how difficult it is to unscrew the gas cap on our car? I suppose it's for maximum sealing, but honestly! I look like a bit of a wuss trying to get it off. God forbid my wife ever has to fill the car up.

Yes, it's a little ridiculous. I thought it was just tight and would loosen up over time but it hasn't.

I was concerned that my hands were getting weak or something at first. But yeah, it is insane.

 

 

I put on the brushed aluminum gas door which makes the opening smaller and its a huge pain in the *** to get the gas cap off.

dude i got the X and holy ****!! i feel all eyes on me wen pulling up to the pump, but wen i get out to open the tank, i feel like **** haha

its insanely tight on there. but watever i love my car!

 

hahaha yeah it is a huge pain in the @$$ especially when it is so friggin cold out!

 

You guys need to stop spending all your free time behind the wheel and get back into the gym...... Seriously though, never gave my gas cap tightness a second thought until now.

 

I tend to notice the "workout" more when I am screwing the gas cap back on.

 

good thing in NJ we dont pump gas.
