I don't think it hurts the transmission to shift early. I do that all the time with mine, especially when I'm stuck in rush hour traffic in LA; I'll usually shift just a tick above 2k RPM cause 1-2-3 like to rev up to 2800-3000 before shifting.

It is stock, as far as I can tell. I almost never get anywhere near that high in the revs, though.

Edit: I measured that using an inaccurate method. I have no clear way of knowing what RPM that corresponds to other than guestimation.

Nothing I cant fix
You used to drive a car with a manual transmission correct? Well, if that's the case, then you shift the Ralliart at the same time that you would change gears if you were driving a traditional manual transmission with a clutch. Use a combination of your eyes watching the tach, and your ears listening to the sound of engine and then shift accordingly, just like you would with a regular stick shift vehicle..

Yeah I have just been trying to match it like I would before. Now I just need to decide if I like the paddle shifters or using the shift knob. I think the shift knob feels more natural to me, but the paddle shifters are a lot of fun.

Can the dealer tell a certain date or time the ecu was ever flashed? I heard they could tell that the ECU was flashed before even though it was flashed back to stock.

Im not sure Im curious myself, but if thats the case some dealers have different factory flashes too. My dealer asked if I wanted the winter flash for my car last time I was there.

And now you're in the Ralliart threads. Hip hip horray! Problem is, there are mods here too.

I was thinking that same thing, although I couldn't have phrased it quite so eloquently as my Aussie friend
