Loss of AWD control and traction control
Loss of AWD control and traction control
I just recently skid across a freshly ( poorly also ) made road and nailed my car against a curb. After replacing the control arm and tie rod on my driver side , and having the car aligned, im still recieving the following errors ( pictures on the front display) , Car wheels need to be aligned, traction control is off, and abs is off. I have replaced the abs sensor on the damaged side, and cleaned out both abs sensors. I have a tactrix cable and have tried to reset the ecu, when i do im able to control my AWD for a few minutes but then it disapears and im unable to use it. Not sure what to do at this point.
The abs sensor warning light is the yellow one, not the red one when you have a damaged connection.

I had a similiar issue with not being able to use my AWC(with out the accident) it was the ACD pump went and had to be replaced it was a half day job at the dealer... warranty covered, it took them a week or two to get the part. I didn't have the alignment light, or the ABS light if i remember correctly.
It might make sense to take it to the dealer and have them give it a once over. It may cost around $100, but knowing everything that is wrong versus guessing is worth it.

Ok so i brought it to the dealer, and as i expected they pretended like it was something completely irrelevant that wouldnt even throw codes. Canadian mitsu guys are the worst for warranty n such. I have evo scan , going to try and pull my own code soon. Anyone ever change the acd pump? looks like im on my own for it.
Take it to an independent evo workshop to give it a once over.
