Still good people in USA
So I start my story off like this. I recently purchased a 2009 Ralliart and I love it. I found a really cool guy with a evo x on evom and started purchasing his parts because he is upgrading.
With that out of the way I can get to the story. I bought his intercooler and ETS UICP/LICP and was making my attempt to install it myself. I am a army special operations soldier and couldnt figure out for the life of me how to install the lower piping so i decided to take my car to my local shop.
I knew a guy there who worked on my previous car and did a outstanding job so i figured i would go to him. I went to the shop he works at and explained my story to him and he gave me a shop estimate but told me he couldnt get to it till the next day. He then noticed i had LED tail lights and inquired what i did with the stock lights. (his evo came with the red tail lights, mine were black) Well i still had them so we negotiated a trade for his spoiler.
Well after some research, we found out that my spoiler would not fit on his car without a fight and some modification. well somewhere between here and when i came in the next day i lost my debit card. So when i came in the next day with my car I told him i lost my Debit card somehow so i will wait to get my parts installed till my new card comes in. However I did bring the tail lights with me. He broke the news to me about the spoiler and proceeded to ask how much i wanted for the tail lights. Since the tail lights were not a big deal to me, i told him he could just have them and count it as a good deed for 2011.
I went to the car to get the tail lights and he went to speak with his manager. He told his manager that i lost my card and that he still wanted to work on my car. Well I guess his manager agreed because my car is in the shop right now and he is installing my new parts! This maybe a boreing story to some but to me this guy made my day. The world is filled with ppl who want nothing but your demise and i deal with these ppl every day. For me to meet someone who goes out of their way to do something kind is amazing.
I want to thank Everette at Hawk Prairie Automotive for being a generally good person and Mitsu lover.

Great story! Are you in Washington State? I'm curious about which shop you went to. A close friend of mine who was one of the first on the DSM/EVO scene in the Pacific Northwest was really happy with his experiences at a shop he used to go to up there.

I would like to thank JDUNN502 for the kind words giving for the work I performed on his RA. Hope everything works ok and that you got your front end back on. Thanks again for the taillights. They should look good on the Evo. You need anything else or have any questions go ahead and call me. I enjoy working on the EVO's and RA's. Makes my job fun. Thanks
