Newbie questions - Engine diagrams and etc
Hi Everyone!
I recently got a used 2009 Lancer Ralliart with 18k miles and found it to be the perfect daily driver! After driving a chevy for the past 3 years, the modding itch has come back. I used to own a STi with mild mods and excited about getting back into the modding game.
After some initial research, it looks like the best bang for buck mods are boost pill upgrades, evo x FMIC + piping upgrades and custom tune. I've seen threads on exhaust upgrades, but a lot seem to be mostly catback exchausts. With the subaru community, they usually opted for turboback due to increased diameter. Are we running close to 3" already for the exhaust?
As I am mostly a visual learner, does there seem to be blueprints and diagrams of the engine so I can actually see where the UICP and LICP would be? It would help me learn along with other various acronyms used in the community. I think one of the major things when switching between car communities is relearning all the shorthand on the forums.
As always, if nothing has anything off hand I'll have to use the trusty search, but I wanted to introduce myself and see if I could get the ball rolling faster. Glad to see the ralliart community is thriving!

Yeah you should be able to see the routing of the UICP and LICP. They're fairly simple compared to a Subaru (did some work on my friend's STi, not as if it was rocket science, but there was more piping to worry about, especially since he has an fmic). To see the LICP, just pull the two snaps off the intake snorkel and u should be able to see most of it.
