Gas Smell in Cabin

Hey hey,

I did a search but nothing recent and the solutions i read were not possible for me cause I don't use meth etc..

My wife's 09 Ralliart has been having issues starting .. its like it's flooded or something... and then when it does start it smells like gas inside the car..

anyone have issues with this?

gas in the intake mani? leakage in the injectors? damn don't want to take it back to the dealership cause they're gonna charge me labor if nothing is wrong..

Yeah. Something is wrong and it sounds like a safety issue.

+1... If it's an '09, it might have been on the recall list.

thanks for the help guys..

the one thing i hate about taking it to the dealership is that if they can't reproduce it they can't fix it..

this happens the odd the time.. argh.. but you guys are right.. better safe then sorry.. at least if something does happen i can say i took it into the dealership

They don't have to reproduce anything to do the fuel rail recall. That's a free service no matter what.
