Info for people driving in snow

Found out an interesting piece of info today. I had noticed that every once in a while when I drove in snow that was deeper than 6 inches that I could see some light green stains in the snow under the car. Thought it was coolant or even diff fluid, had it checked out just in case.

Turns out it's just oxidation coming off the stainless stock exhaust when it touches the snow.

Thought I'd share this for people who may have seen green spots under the car in the snow, nothing to worry about

^true. The stainless exhaust on my HEMI Durango did the same - making me think the rear heater system was leaking...

It wasn't.
