Dyno Experts in the house?
Dyno Experts in the house?
So I've identified some local shops in the Denver area that can Dyno tune my Ralliart. I already know all about the free GST base map and I already know about the AMS stages available. What I am wondering is, what Dyno would be better to tune my 2010 WW Ralliart Sportback? Both Tuners have pretty good reviews on them. I know if I ask them which is better I'm sure they both would say theirs was better. I could be asking an irrelevant question because I also don't know if it would even matter if either Dyno was used. I assume it would matter though. Last thing, my car IS currently stock and when I get the tune it will remain stock during that time. I know building a rep-or with your tuner is a must and that is why I am wanting to know which route I should go so I have a better chance at starting my build right. I've already looked on google and I've looked through this website and there is nill. So the two Dyno's I have available to me are the Mustang MD-AWD-500 with the Dyno rates are as follows:
DYNO RATES
- $400 E85 TUNE (3 Hour)
- $300 PUMP GAS TUNE (3 Hour)
- $100 EACH ADDITIONAL HOUR
- $75 BASELINE TEST (3 Pulls)
- $400 AEM TUNE
The other Dyno is the Superflow 880 AWD Autodyn with the rates as follows:
- $85.00 First time customers, 3-pull baseline tests, basic fan, wideband AFR additional $25, 70MPH fan additional $25.
- $65.00 Returning customers, 3-pull re-baseline tests, basic fan, wideband AFR additional $25, 70MPH fan additional $25.
- $500.00 All day rental (8 hours, 8 car max) Call for details.
- $250.00 OpenECU tunes on 2003+ Subarus & EVO VIII's - X's, $150.00 for returning customers, additional maps are $100.00. Call for details.
- $495.00 Custom tunes
*Assuming both of these dynos are up to date on the versions of software they are using and assuming they are both fairly new Dynos.
Hopefully someone can give some good advice
