How many Ralliarts ARE THERE?

Anybody know how many 2009 and 2010 Ralliarts there are out there?

I'm doing some research and can't seem to have the number.

I read somewhere there are 10,000 Evo Xs out there in the USA and Canada.

If anybody knows or can find the number of Ralliarts, that would be awesome!

Including sportbacks! I want to know how many bros and sisters there are. lol

Well at least in Puerto Rico the local Mitsu import only 30 approx 09' RA.
After the big sales failure they decide to eliminate them from the catalogue.

It feels weird having a car so similar in looks to the other Lancer but so different in the inside.

This is completely anecdotal but when I was shopping for mine it looked like there was 1 Ralliart on new car lots for every 12-15 regular Lancers. That works out to around 6%.

Mitsubishi sold 55,683 vehicles in the USA in 2010. Based on rough 2009 numbers of monthly Lancer sales about 44% of Mitsubishi's sold are Lancers. My guess based on this information is about 1500 Ralliart's were sold in 2010.

Either that or Ralliarts are really really popular and dealers had a hard time keeping them on the lot.

I really doubt there are many. The dealership I ordered mine from NEVER had one on their lot. They even did a search for the one I was looking for and came up with nothing even close, and not many Ralliarts in general.... And to be honest, I can't recall ever seeing one or atleast noticing it.

(I ordered in Jan and they said March it will come in. I sure hope so, the anticipation is killing me. )

I'm guessing max 100 in entire Sweden. Locally here in Stockholm I have only seen one actually on the street. I've seen two or three Evo X's.
I've seen about 5-10 (Some are probably the same) ordinary lancer sportbacks and maybe 3 sedans since I got the car april last year.
That's fine by me cause I like to be different. The outlander seems to be their best selling car here and I've seen probably 50+ of em.

When I looked for mine, I only found one for sale in Oregon. I have yet to find someone else with a Ralliart in Oregon.

When I found mine (August 2010), there were two in the area. One was red and the other was black. I'm not much of a fan of red cars, so I went with black... even though I had to drive over an hour to get to the dealership.

I just bought my 2011 sportback.

The dealer informed me they had approx. (50) 2011's delivered to the local dealers in Sept/Oct 2010 and I bought the 2nd to last one.

He said they are VERY expensive to build so they only make the minimum. At least they sold them all. It is a good sign.

Consider yourself lucky, I drove 4 hours to get mine.

Very expensive as in losing money on them? What does "the minimum" mean? A company manufacturing minimum or a government minimum?

I suppose enough to either make the minimum profit required to continue producing them.

It seems to be a car they is gaining in popularity so I guess as long as they aren't LOSING money, they will continue to make them, albeit, in small numbers.
