Be sick if you could get that in a double DIN size and install it like a nav system

You CAN do that with EvoScan and an in-dash carputer...it's on my long to-do list.

so this is what the guy from ARK told me

Base on the EVO X for the MFD:

Here is what is can read out of the box:
Injectors
RPM
Water Temp Sensor Signal
Throttle Sensor Signal
Vehicle speed
Boost

Optional Sensor:
Oil Temp
Oil Press
Water Temp

Base on the EVO X for the MFD II
Speed
RPM
Water Temp
Throttle
O2

Optional Sensor
Boost
Oil Temp
Oil Press or Water Temp (can only pick one)

Here is a link to the ARK Design Product Support pages for more info on the MFD and MFD II.

http://www.arkdesign-us.com/technical-support

so if you bought the MFD2 in order to read oil temp, oil pressure or boost you'd need to buy the following accessories

http://www.arkdesign-us.com/online-s...2-boost-sensor

http://www.arkdesign-us.com/online-s...ressure-sensor

http://www.arkdesign-us.com/online-s...erature-sensor

http://www.arkdesign-us.com/online-s...sensor-adapter

http://www.arkdesign-us.com/online-s...11/meter-stand

so all in all if right off the hop you wanted boost and A/F you'd be out about $500,

which is comparable to buying a gauge pod and gauges say you went with AEM for gauges figure round $400 ish all said and done.

you can always buy the extra sensor as you go, i like this idea cause it keeps all your info in one spot with out having to have gauges everywhere

Yep!

Check it out at http://torque-bhp.com

I have it and it's awesome! Can even tell you CEL codes and their meanings, and erase them.

It can read about whatever readings are available on the OBD2 port. Pretty accurate.

It also supports customs PID, so if something isn't buit in, you can add it. It a work in progress so the developper is adding new stuff quite often.

Very easy to install, it's in the market (free and paid version). All you need is a bluetooth dongle for the OBD2 port.

You can get some on Ebay for about 40 bucks. PLX Devices also has one, which I think is about 100 bucks.

The problem with that app and OBDII for gauges is its a slow protocol not meant for real-time data like you want. Really your best option is indeed gauges or what velocityhead said, a carPC.

Something like this. I'm going out to install it now. I'll let ya know how it goes.
