I don't get it.... are you talking about a divided 02 housing with the wastegate side dumping straight to amtmosphere or did you just remove the exhaust after the down pipe...

Sounds dangerous to me... Some highly tuned car with non-restrictive exhaust systems are shooting flames... In your case, the chances of producing flames are very high and they would come out right under the car...

This is excluding the possibilty the unburnt gaz could accumulate under the car when you at stop and ignite...

The law requires the exhaust pipes to not have any leak and to not expel the gases under the car...

Slap a non-resonated test pipe on there. It will sound pretty similar but your car won't blow up!!! (+CBE with non-resonated mid-pipe)
