How loud do you think ur exhaust would be with resonated mid pipe and a straight through test pipe? Anyone done this yet? Thinking of going that route but I don't want to set off car alarms in the next county.

I have the UR exhaust with a resonated mid pipe and Ceramic HFC and it is super loud. On the highway going about 120km/h you need the music on volume 30 or higher to not hear it. I'm switching out the HFC though for a test pipe with mini muffler on it. Apparently that is even quieter than the stock cat.

I have a 3" UR TBE with a HFC and a mini-muffler. I do a lot of highway driving and at about 110kpm she can be a little loud, but at 120 she quiets right up. Volume can be set at 18 or 20 and you can still hear the music fine. I had a magnaflow exhaust on my last car and I needed ear plugs for highway driving. haha!

 

If you read the NYC ticket thread Krisko says he sets off car alarms in parking lots and he has a UR TBE with a mini muffler. Im getting mine installed tomorrow and now im thinking this may have been a bad idea.... I really want that awesome sound though!!

Apparently getting the resonators and mini mufflers only help with drone inside the car and not the sound on the outside. Although krisko said when he upgraded his intercooler the outside sound get a bit muted....
