would it be bad to run my car with just ultimate racing cat back exhuast and downpipe but no test pipe or the car would run fine

umm well, it would not be "bad" at all, it wouldnt harm the car, that i kno of. And besides you would do all that work for nothing only to have left the most restrictive part of the whole exhaust on still, The Cat.

well its just im buything them used locally and i feel if i buy the test pipe it will be way to loud. what do u guys think???

UR resonated test pipe sounds stock if that's the only thing you change. Can't say what it'll sound like if you add a CBE and DP. But your biggest gain will be from replacing the stock cat.
