Steering wheel

Is anyone else having a problem with the leather on the steering wheel wearing off? I am seeing darker and lighter spots based on where my hands usually are on the steering wheel. I would like to put a protector or sealant on it, without putting on some crappy steering wheel cover.

My steering wheel is slowly, but surely, getting wear spots. I have 40,8xx miles, though, and the wear spots are barely noticeable.

I'm starting to see how much damage my wedding ring has caused the steering wheel... if our leather is coming off due to just normal use with our hands... I'm thinking a crappy steering wheel cover is the only way to go.

I'm curious too if this is happening to the majority of us 2009 owners.

Seems to be a fairly common thing. Anyone have an idea on some kind of sealant or protectant other than a junky cover?

Nope, steering wheel cover.
I swear, if my zipper or my wife's nails put one more scratch on that wheel, I'll have to get a cover
