254hp/269tq, 18x8's with 235's, bilstein struts, 2 piece rotors (non-Brembo calipers), minimal cosmetic changes (as usual with ), and they haven't officially announced it, but there is supposed to be a manual option in the second half of 2012 production models by special order only...

Yeah right, we all wish anyway. If it is continued, it'll probably be damn near the same thing as it has been so far. If you've noticed, mitsu isn't too keen on making very big changes unless its been awhile. Look at the Galant, basically the same car from 2004-2012

Considering 2012 will be the penultimate year for the Evo X, and perhaps the Evo overall, and the assumption that Mitsubishi has already moved considerable engineering resources to their electric vehicle programs, I would not expect anything more than minor aesthetic tweaks to the Ralliart.

Changing something on anything requires time and money. If making any drastic changes towards the RA to make it more popular to consumers expect it to rival the baseline price of a GSR. Which they won't do, so don't expect much.

That is my non-educated guess.

Trolling the n00bs eh?

I'd expect the Ralliart to get de-contented and move more things that were standard on the 09's to be in option packages to drive the final price up, as the AWD GTS will move up to fill the Ralliart's old spot (and the Ralliart has to move closer to the GSR's pricing once the Evo is discontinued following next).

A number of managers and higher ups at Mitsu have told me that Mitsu will not be offering the Ralliart in 2012.

I find this so funny (I'm not saying you are wrong). I was at Mitsu again today and 2 other guys said for sure there will not be a Ralliart in 2012. Glad people at Mitsu are currently all on the same page.

Not much of a change in the 2012 Aus lancer Ralliart lineup,

- New Wheel design
- New Seat Trim
- New Seat material
- Deleted colors - cool silver replaced by Titanium and Orange burst.

I think we were all hoping for a manual option. :-(

Odd you being in Canada as well. But when I went they said they had just ordered 1 in every colour of the sportback.

I have heard from many sources that Ralliart division of Mitsu has shut down.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ralliart

So no 2012 RA!

I may be wrong though.

Hmm, i had also just talked with the dealership and they had said expect the 2012 RA in February. So who to believe? I did hear that Mitsu was shutting down its ralliart division but does that division specifically work on the RA (instead of specifically focusing on the WRC) or is it Mitsu's manufacturing dept using its ralliart division as inspiration for the branding? I kno they have the ralliart name on other mitsu vehicles overseas but am curious if its just brand naming or actual involvement.

Good thing Ralliart has nothing to do with the Mitsubishi Ralliart.
