Instrument Cluster

This may have been discussed already but I didn't see it when I did a search. Wondering if it would be possible to get the color(2010+) instrument cluster into the 09?

Yeah, despite my complete lack of the style gene, I must admit... the new-model display makes mine look like a 70s digital watch.

Sigh.

This is the LEAST of my worries! There are so many other things you can do to this car to make it look better, perform better, and go faster, that the instrument cluster design doesn't even make my list of desired modifications, and probably never will!!!(unless I hit the lottery, in which case I'm ditching the Ralliart and buying a Lamborghini anyway.....)

This is the reason why when I buy my evo it needs to be 2010+. I'm basing my whole buying a car decision on an instrument cluster. I know it's dumb but I'm picky like that

And you lurrrve 70s digital-watch style.

That's your choice. I was just a little curious about it. I know people total their cars and if they're doing a partout, why not buy theirs and put it in the 09? I've done some mods and have some others to do, not including a Lamborghini, but this was one that I was just interested in, and it seems others are too.

I guess though if you're color blind then that explains why you seem so against it. In which case that blows for you.

This sounds like a match made in heaven. I think I might be able to find some **** carpet to throw into the deal too!! Maybe a pair of bell bottoms or two.

yeah the color gauge cluster is really nice, and also why when i had my gts i chose a 2010 over a very slightly cheaper 2009, just because of that option, and there were a few other niceideys. but i would put that money into something better, unless it turns out to be cheap to do the swap.

Mine is a MY10 but comes with a red cluster.. any build date aug/09 - July/10 is classed as a MY10, Aug/10 - Jul/11 is a MY11 etc. So just having a MY10 doesnt mean u get a colour cluster. /sigh But I did get the leather covered hand brake (emergency brake).

Mine was a build date of Nov/09

Just thought I'd post this as a few peps get confused with the MY designations.
