shift shock at low speed

I tried two ralliart. They both have shift shock when I am driving a low speed <30km per hr. Is it normal. It happens more frequently when stuck in traffic. It is like when you starting the car slowly, accelerating slowly, slowing down the car, accelerating slowly, and going to a stop.

Sometimes, yes. Especially when the trans. hasn't really got a lot of heat into it.

As you said, it's common in crawling traffic. Especially if I start the car and straight away find myself in a jam... as if the clutches and fluid have not really had a chance to get up to the ideal temperature for smooth operation (or something).

In traffic, my RA drives like someone who just learned to drive stick yesterday, especially if it anticipates you in the wrong gear and you mash the gas, it suddenly panics and like, slams the appropriate gear in place.

I notice it more when coming to a stop. The car clunks when it gets back into first. perfectly normal for the sst. I think its something thats noticed more from the drivers seat because when I ride in my buddies MR, I don't notice or even hear it even though he says it does it as well.

I laughed when I read this, it is true. In traffic I always put it in manual and try to force the car to stay in second gear.

This is a motor mount problem, AFAIK. That jerkiness is the motor rocking back and forth.
