My sst is saying goodbye

(sorry for english)

Sooner or later the time has come........
this week my sst is acting weird, I take it to the dealer and the tech say I need a new tranny. So now I need to wait until the mitsu inspector check my car and give the dealer the OK to my new tranny.

So I think is time to let her go because is this tranny fail again under no warranty god save us.

A little of the story: When the car are in 2 gear the car start shaking very bad. When you are crusing 65 70mph the car start to rev bouncing like the tranny is slipping.

So just wait to see what happen

You race it everyday, i bet. Plus city driving will stress your tranny even more.

The driving habits are not nearly as important as maintenance habits (I don't know what your's are OP), within reason of course.

Usually I agree with your statements Sstevojr, but I definitely DISAGREE with this one.

$220 every 15k is alot better than an expensive tranny after the warranty is up. even though mitsu says 30k miles for tranny fluid change, i'd rather be conservative and lessen the risk on my part.

and if you use mitsu diaqueen it'll run you ~300 every 15k.

Swapped turbo? Netter hope they don't see that. Good luck, but hopefully the filter and fluid change fixes it

Apparently no one reads anymore:
change oil and filter and everything is back to normal at this moment
Glad to hear it all worked out
