I seem to have endless options I'm looking at trying to get back to a lancer. (could go into details, but basically different evos, new ralliarts, cheaper used ralliarts, etc)

But anyway, been talking to this dealer who has this ralliart:
ww 10 ralliart autotrader

Its got the recaros and hids and all which I would want, got price to 23990, and asked about a hook up on shipping. May take it, the only thing (besides the mr badge on the trunk and the ralliart badge in the inside, I would remove those asap), it has those 19" black wheels. Not exactly a fan of those, never seen those wheels or not sure affect on performance with 19"s on the car, any thoughts? anyone who would buy them/trade for them? haha

I would like them if they were 18s, don't like having bigger size wheels than what oem was, so would like 18"s

 

I dont like the price. I think I paid 22K for mine 14 months ago. and it had 14k miles, brand new tires and few evo x parts on it.

What's the CEL?

 

In the one pic its just the power on so all those lights are on, but now that I look at another pic it looks like the rpm needle is up for being turned on and think I see cel light. I'll ask the dealer. Here's a reply I got on asking if it had the transmission fluid changed:

The cost of the tranny service is about $500. We can give you the allowance for that off the price of the car. When would you like to pick it up?

 

It's the 4th pic you noticed with the engine running and a CEL.

30,000 miles and they don't know if the transmission has ever been serviced? Even if they off $500 off, sounds like they're trying to just get rid of it. If it'd been serviced once it wouldn't be so bad but 30,000 miles without flushing the break-in fluid out is not the best idea.

 

I noticed another thing. There are no TPMS sensors in the wheels, so if you want them you'll have to buy them. I'm also worried that they didn't include a under hood pic. I'd bet that there's a CAI under there, and I doubt this guy ever got a proper tune.

This thing just screams STAY AWAY!!. If you really want it, make sure you take it to a good shop to give it a thorough look over.

 

Do not buy a previously modded car unless it is certified. I've learned my lesson the hard way, and ask for the CarFax!

edit: looks like a lot of different lights are on. and mybe the tps light... and whatever the dash's big warning display is

 

yeah probably will pass on this one, dealer doesn't respond much anyway haha

 

I'm wary of even un-modded turbo cars...this one is modded by an obvious poser...yeah...I'm not sure if there could be any bigger warning sign then that MR badge.
