A few things added to WW 2012...

Thank you all for the kindness.. well wishes and.. helpful replies.

Well it was a busy weekend for me.. trying to do the most i could.. without breaking the bank.

Turned out pretty well with the exception of the window trim in chrome, (taping the rubber was an absolute fail.. spraying the rubber and the chrome came out better, but i suggest that you purchase the all black for just over 100 if you want the blacked out look on the window trim.

Picked up an EVO X BOV from member: Chaz17 on Friday...
installed on Saturday morning.

By the afternoon i had received the Nokya hyper yellow fogs i had purchased on the Monday Prior.. so i got to work on that since the sun was out.

Got way to happy submitting my first post..

By sunday i needed a car wash.. and said.. well before i go.. let me see how hard it would be to debadge.. i went and got goo be gone at home depot.. fishing line at kmart.. and i had did was take a plastic/rubberised scraper for plaster.. and lift a corner on the mitsu and lancer logos.
paying close attention to the rubberised glue coming off. i dont know if this was easier than normal.. because it was probably recently put on and hasnt set.
But it does look a alot better without it.

Now because of my lack of Garage in New york.. i had no idea.. how i was going to plastidip my chrome nose ring.. i started searching and looking and finally took the leap of faith.. by painting it while on the car.
Taping was tideous.. and time consuming.. but well worth it since i didnt have to remove bumper.
4 layers per coat.. at 4 coats each is on the nose ring.
removing tape was a breeze and did not come into a difficult spot where i thought i was going to remove the plastidip on the chrome. Patience is key in this task.

You made this way too hard. it is easier (truly) to just remove the bumper and trim (front and window) and paint.

Yep. Someone asked a few days ago about how to do it without removing bumper. I linked to about 3 threads with how-tos and pictures of how to remove the ring without removing the bumper.

It looks good, but you could have saved a lot of time

Seeing the licence plate drilled into the middle of the bumper makes me cringe

Paramus should start dishing out the money to get the side mounts. Makes the car look much better.

Mornign guys... I know the taping took longer than removing the ring.. but it was an only option for me... i like the way it came out.. and taping was a pain in the a$$ but.. it was within my means.

Added a few things in the last week.. im now dropped on teins... which i actually like better than the rrm's that a friend is dropped on.
Added somewhat of a custom exhaust axelback, i wanted something within my means that i didnt have to spend 550+ on and i think i accomplished just that.

After:

Magnaflow exhaust

Good work!

In my opinion you should go all the way black plasti dip on the front lip from the chrome ring outline. Will make it more aggressive.

everythings looking good man! glad the bov is working out well for you

as for the plasti dip, you can remove the ring without removing the bumper pretty easily. just ~15 screws holding it on from the back which can be reached with a small screwdriver/ratchet.
and as stated before, you should plasti dip the white are underneath the ring too, makes the front a lot better looking.

cars looking good and nice doing business with you

Looks good. I'd go for a bit smaller tips on the exhaust myself but sounds great in that video.

I think the tips look bigger than they are... since the angle of the pic was taken.. i will try to take a pic at lunch break today.

the 4.5" round fills in the curved bumper outlets perfectly. and when the specs were 2.5 inlet and 4.5" tip... i took it as a sign to buy. lol. no buyers remorse here.

However... i have noticed the back of the car gets dirtier that the rest of the car. but maybe its mind over matter.

thanks all for the complements.
