Evo X RS
Evo X RS
To me it seems like a ralliart with wider body but with evo x engine and smaller wheels. I think this would be in the price range of a new ralliart if they released them here in the US!
I doubt it. People have paid upwards of $4k (I have seen as high as $7k) to swap in the rear differential from the RS and other assorted parts into an X. A lot of the parts from that car are really valuable. I imagine that the entire car, considering the weight difference between the regular Evolution X and the RS, would fetch a huge premium.
Ahh, so you think if the RS was sold here it would go GSR->SE->RS->MR?
Off topic but I want to get your Ultimate brake kit sometime in the future!

No, it's like a Evo, but it's a....Evo... with no radio, AC, recaros, cruise control, abs, interior lighting, sound deadening....

The 2004 and 2005 Evo 8 RS sat on dealer lots because people didn't want to spend 25k+ on a car with no power windows, etc.
2006 Evo 9 RS sold a little better because at that point the enthusiasts had warmed up to the RS and it was a little more "civil" then the Evo 8 RS before.
I wouldn't say any of them fetched a "premium" at all.
Maybe in the used car market where a non-molested RS is worth a bit to enthusiasts, especially the white Evo 9 RS.

As people get to the limits of their Drag Evos, some desire to go further buy trying to find an SE or RS. We would realistically be looking at used RS's here, in this country, as well. I am speculating that the same trend may occur. It might be wrong, but that is what previous experience has shown me.

The Evo 8/9 RS in the US is a bit different then the RS in EU/JP.
