Caught the upgrade bug for my RA

First off I just wanted to say thanks for everyone on the forms for all the help I could have ever asked for.

So since I bought my car last year I was going to keep my car 100% stock no upgrades nothing. Well the more I started coming on here the more I saw things I wanted lol. Threw out the year I've been buying used parts from other members here and other forms for a lot cheaper then MSRP. So far this is what I've done so far to my little speed demon LOL

Evo X bpv
Evo X FMIC
Evo X LICP
K&N Filter
AMS HFC
AMS CBE
AMS boost pill (not installed)
CP-E Guage pod
AEM Boost, A/F Wideband, Oil Temp
T1R UICP

I will post pics up tomorrow. I hope...

^They made it easy for you - find the sticky and do a little research...

Have a goal and a budget in mind.

Yeah most of the mods I've done so far were used parts from here and other forms. You can get some really good parts for way cheaper then retail. So just set a budget and keep with it.

@Steven_Trujillo how do you like those gauge pod setups? does it interfere with your view or anything? i was thinking about those instead of covering my airbag on the side >.< id rather not get hit and have a face full of gauges.

This is a good gaugepod to consider.

Well as you can see from the last pic it doesn't take too much off the road maybe a inch or two. Concise ring I'm only 5'6. If you are 6 foot like a few of my buddies they said it didn't take anything off the road. And I know where your coming from. I rather have them their then get in a accedent An(heaven forbid) and lose all my gauges.

phew! yea im 6'6" lol so i have to duck to see street lights hahaha so wont be too bad. now the one that guy posted was cheaper than the one i saw at lancershop.com however it also looked different. the more expensive one was laser precisioned. idk about the other one. basically i just want one to fit my RA. not one that fits a year or two before cuz then it get sketchy.

Personally I think the other one looks cheap and it looks like you have to make a hole to run the wires and it looks like it is held on with double sided tape :/

Oh and when people see that guage they always ask if that's oem. That's just my .02

Love fellow ra drivers who have done upgrades already def hve alot of insight on problem solving and cheats. I myself have to agree that modding our cars can be done very cheap w good quality parts trick is finding what u want. I'm on a mission to get all at once ie oem x fmic licp uicp bov bov tubeing and couplers. So I can tell u the refresh button on my screen has been completely violated! Lol
