Long story short some one (girlfriend grrr... I'm mad at her) messed up my front bumper and fenders. I am looking at geeting the SEIBON Evo X CF fenders and the VIS Evo X CF Bumper to replace them. I want to know if:
1. will they fit?
2. would I look like a poser ***?
3. how much does it cost to get parts painted and matching?
4. does anyone else have any better ideas to fix this?

 

The question really is, 'will it look funny only having a wide body front?'
i suggest you just get a lancer (not EVO) aftermarket front end.

 

Yeah it would look a little odd, and you have to do some work to try and get the holes to match up.

+1 on lancer products.

 

Unless it's a show car stay away from a cf front bumper get something easy to repair like abs or fiberglass

 

so what about an OEM Evo X front bumper?
Also I do plan to make the rear fenders larger. (Not look like Evo X rear end, just fender flares)

 

you can google some photo and see if you like it or not. I am pretty sure there are photo of EVO with a Ralliart spoiler, Ralliart or Lancer with EVO front bumper only. I seen those photo before. For, me it doesn't really look bad. However, I am not sure if you need extra work to put it on you lancer as most EVO parts do not fit on Lancer and Ralliart(except for the rim).

 

a couple of people on here have done EvoX front bumper swaps. one swapped bumper and fenders, and the other only the bumper...

search the forum for pics and more info on each ...

 

the x bumper will only line up if you have x fenders. the sides stick out

 

sorry about the damage but

if you end up getting front and rear bumpers (full body kit) im interested in your rear bumper :-P my brother lives in lubbock.
