I was browsing through some listings on the internet for cars for sale as I am currently looking to buy a Mitsu Ralliart. I found one for sale by private seller. It is listed far below market price but is also only listed as a Lancer sedan. But I noticed right away from the pictures that this is not a normal lancer but a ralliart because of the front lip. Getting off topic, my main question is, has anyone else noticed that there are some models of the Ralliart that do not have the hood scoop? Its mostly in the sportback model that I have noticed. I haven't found any pictures of the sedan with this. Am I missing something or is this a Lancer but a different package? I can not seem to find anything on the web concerning the hood scoops missing. Some help would be greatly appreciated.

 

All RAs come with a hood scoop. If it doesn't have it, it is probably a GTS.

 

If you Google 2009 Mitsubishi Ralliart sportback, there are a few pictures showing models without hood scoops but are in deed Ralliart models. Here is a link of one of them. It has the rounded lip at the front, only the Lancer Ralliart has this I thought?

I'm going to say Lancer DE Sportback....or an ashamed Ralliart owner who wants their car to look like the bottom of the barrel....no go with option #1

I think I figured it out. The Lancer sportback Euro version looks to have the Ralliart rounded lip in the front. The only thing that confuses me is that I am from Canada and the person is selling this vehicle in Toronto?? Don't judge a book by it's cover, and don't judge a Ralliart by the front lip.

 

It's just a base Lancer fitted with the Ralliart front bumper, also the 2012 lancer GT's come with the RA front bumper stock. There is no way you can find Ralliarts at this price in Canada.

 

I am also going to bet that it is from Europe since it has those headlight washer things. Also, by looking at the background, it seems very european, the metal shutters on the windows, the door handles etc....so not sure why this person is posting those pictures, unless they imported the car....also in the picture the licence plate looks to be european size, not Canadian. Also, are those not the new 2012 rims, so that could explain the ralliart front end.

The black Sportback, yes. The silver car w/ European plates on the Canadian site, not so much.

 

Its a scam! These retards are all over Kijiji and Craigslist selling cars, bikes and apartment rentals. Its such a great deal that you want to give them a deposit and they win.
