2011 Ralliart Audio *issues*
2011 Ralliart Audio *issues*
Ok, so I did a search and didn't find anything so I thought I would ask. 2011 Ralliart, 6 disc in dash, using 16GB (Fat32 formatted, so 14.9 usable 6.6GB free) USB stick with mp3's (192kb) for audio. Directory structure is: Root > Band folder > .mp3's. Latest fuse updates (9.0).
When I turn the car off it "forgets" where it last was, and doesn't remember I had it set on random all. When I updated the fuse system it worked fine until I added songs to the usb stick, I suspect the same would happen if I pulled battery power, everything would be ok until I modified the contents of the drive.
I noticed it didn't read the genre tag on some of my files either, all .mp3's are tagged correctly.
I've tried formatting / low level formatting / changing the ID of the USB stick to no avail.
Anyone have any ideas?

I believe if the mp3's aren't loaded in the hard drive it won't remember where it left off.
It probably resets when its in read mode (usb stick).

No navi so no HDD. The most irritating and confusing part about the whole thing is it worked just fine, remembered my settings, and where it was last and picked up from that point until I changed songs on the USB stick. That was when the USB stick was brand new, after I changed songs it stopped remembering and acts like it's loading the USB stick for the first time each time I turn the car on. After I did the fuse update (which in theory would have reset the whole system), it worked just fine again, until I once again changed the songs on the USB stick then back to the same non function.
Try a different usb stick and see if it still does that, could be the stick has problems. I guess if that doesn't solve the problem just get an mp3 player and connect it to the usb port and it should work all the time.
