rpm fluctuation

sorry if this has been discuseed (I looked but couldn't see anything).

Anyways, when I take my foot off the throttle I have noticed (in every gear) that there is a subtle and small increase in rpm before it starts to decrease. Like I said, it is very subtle and the increase is small.

Just wondering if it is normal and/or what it could be? The car has 9,000 km on it.

Thanks.

Thanks. It seems dependent on the Cobb tune I am running. On a separate note, I just checked my boost for the first time and it is at 17.6 at WOT. I can't wait to add a couple mods and get professionally tuned in a couple weeks...sigh

It's most likely caused by the fuel map, when you lift the engine goes rich. This will cause a slight increase in combustion for just a moment. Then it starts to cut fuel.

Thank you. As I sated earlier, I'm at about 17.6 psi at WOT. I'm adding an ams bov and 3 port solenoid. What should I be expecting for psi following a professional tune? Just curious and I know you know your stuff aha.

What ever you tuner chooses, most commonly 22psi.
