Okay, I was drilling into my front bumper for the license plate mount, and what seems to be like papery curds started to come out, is this okay...? I'm super worried right now

There's styrofoam behind the bumper.

When in doubt, taste it. It should taste bland with a spongy yet firm texture.

If, on the other hand, it has delicate woody flavours and a fruity nose... you've hit glycol coolant.

My eyes started to water I was laughing so hard.

I wouldn't recommend trying to identify unknown substances by putting them in your mouth.

Very difficult to do that, since they are mounted up on the core-support.
