3.5 width intercooler need modification?
Had my bumper off yesterday to put a new intercooler on but had fitment issues. It is 3.5 inches wide. How did some of you guys put this type of intercooler on? Or what did you do to make it fit? Let me know ASAP Im itching to put this intercooler on.
Souldn't be any fitment issues... i know ETS makes one that is 4" that will bolt right up and it's not a snug fit against the bumper... now if you go 4.5 then your gonna be really snug

I say this because there is some stupid sensor thats on the drivers side of the bumper that sticks out and is preventing it from being on there. Its a Perrin Intercooler.

It's a temp sensor (outside temp, on the dash), I just bent mine out of the way (bracket).
Which brand did you get, sounds like a good one. Many people don't have this problem because many IC's worry more about width than length (TWSS). Fewer are long enough to make contact with that sensor, so it doesn't become an issue.
In all honest a long 3 or 3.5" IC is MORE efficient than a short 4 or 4.5" IC
