I have a 2011 and do have both HIDs from the Touring Package and Daytime Running Lights.

I'm a bit shocked to hear the American RA's have them -- I thought they weren't a requirement down there?

In Canada, my 2009 RA has HIDs and DRLs (my DRLs are the halogen lights inboard of the HIDs running on lower wattage).

DRL's are mandated in Canada so all the RA's should have DRL there. It is not mandated in US yet...

had a 2008 GTS w/ halogens, it had DRLs. Have a 2010 RA w/ HIDs, it has DRLs, but i disabled them by pulling the relay out.

Every new car I've seen sold in the US has DRLs. If you have halogens it's the same bulb as the low beam light.

My 2009 Ralliart HAD DRLs, but I bought the Jrox DRL Disable Harness on Ebay, and now they are turned off for good. I didn't know you could just pull out a stinking relay and be done with it though!!!

You can do what i did if you have OEM HID's on your car. The DRLs in that situation are the high beams on other cars. Opening the fuse box under the hood has a relay clearly label as being for the DRLs.
